Stunning Bwthyn Bach is a gorgeous holiday cottage in Pembrokeshire converted from the original milking parlour on Treicert farm. This stylish holiday home is a beautiful place to connect and unwind with family and friends. This easy access cottage is on one level and has wide doorways and a spacious hallway, the open plan living space has painted white stone walls and a character vaulted beamed ceiling. There’s a warming log burner in the living area, sink into the comfy leather sofas and enjoy a cosy evening when the nights turn chilly, whilst planning your next day’s Pembrokeshire adventure.

The Facilities

The kitchen and living area is open plan, with a shaker style kitchen, fully equipped with an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. The cottage dining table seats 4 and we can supply a high chair on request. The lounge area has two leather sofas and a Freeview TV, DVD, CD, WiFi and a selection of board games, there’s a warming log burner, ideal when the nights turn chilly, creating a cosy atmosphere. Bwthyn Bach is perfect whatever the season, an ideal summer hideaway or a cosy winter retreat.

Further Details

There are two spacious bedrooms, furnished with ample storage. A large double bedroom with king size bed, bedside tables, dressing table, chair, wardrobe and chest of drawers all with a neutral relaxing decor. The second bedroom has two single beds, bedside tables, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The family bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, toilet and handbasin, again decorated in a neutral contemporary style.

Outside, to the front of this holiday cottage in Pembrokeshire, enjoy those amazing Preseli mountain views from your enclosed courtyard garden and decked area and outdoor table and chairs.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Weekly changeover day is usually Friday. All Bed linen & towels are included, please bring your own beach towels. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Off-road parking for 3 cars. There’s a fenced pond within the farm grounds.

Would highly recommend!

Beautifully clean and comfortable cottage and a great deal of care had been taken over COVID-19 requirements. Great location – a short distance from the spectacular coast. And it was so quiet! Just what we were looking for. We took our dog and the enclosed front garden ensured she was able to sun herself! Highly recommended.

Bwthyn Bach is a beautifully decorated, comfortable, spacious cottage

The kitchen is very well equipped and there is helpful information about local services as well as walks. There is a pleasant outside seating area, which has the sun all day and is conveniently fenced so our dog could be off the lead but contained. Mr.and Mrs. Thomas and family were on hand and very friendly and helpful. We could not have wished for a lovelier place for our first holiday in Pembrokeshire. Thank you for a super week.

Lovely Cottage, ideally situated for walks with our dogs

50 minutes to the coastal path on quiet footpaths. The whole area is unspoilt and quiet. Recommend this for those who like a quiet holiday in unspoilt , scenic countryside.

A perfect getaway from it all destination

All the facilities needed to make it feel a proper home from home albeit a slightly remote location but the peace of being able to walk the dog and actually hear no traffic was most welcomed. Owners introduced themselves but were not intrusive. If you’re looking to recharge your batteries you won’t be disappointed here.

How To Get There

Y Stabal, Treicert, Nevern, Newport, Pembrokeshire, SA42 0PA
Fishguard: 12 miles,  Cardigan: 6 miles, Newport: 4 miles

From Newport on the A487:

Drive through Newport and turn left by Llysmeddyg restaurant onto Feidr Pen-Y-Bont, go over the bridge and head towards Moylegrove. Continue on this road to a t-junction and turn right here. Follow this road and take the 2nd right, carry on along this road and you’ll come to the Treicert Farm Cottages sign on your left, you can turn into our drive towards the cottages here.

From Cardigan on the A487:

From the A487 turn right at Croft Cottages onto the B4582 towards Nevern. Follow the road through Glanrhyd and up the hill for about a mile. Turn right towards Newport beach and follow the road past Pantgwyn Quarry to the crossroads. Go straight over and follow the road around a sharp bend until you get to the T-junction. Turn left here (still towards Newport beach) and half a mile on the right you will see a lane with a sign for Treicert Farm Cottages. Follow the lane and bear round to the right where you will find our cottages.

If using a SatNav for SA420PA, it will take you to a neighbours lane, please follow the road to our lane approx 400m further along, if coming from Cardigan you will pass the lane first.
