Hangar 5
Hangar 5 opened in 2015 as Wales’ first trampoline park, in recent years they have also opened a soft play area. The trampoline park has interconnected trampolines with slanted walls, trick airbag and punch bags. The park also has a cafe and is perfect for an all day trip. As Hangar 5 has both trampoline park and soft play centre it is a perfect place for the whole family regardless of age.
Oakwood Theme Park
Oakwood Theme Park is based in Pembrokeshire, South Wales, and offers fun for all of the family. There are rides for children of all ages, including toddlers. From Treetops to Moon Landing, you can find something to suit your family. If roller coasters aren’t your thing then you can play mini golf, go to the arcade or the shooting range or even go to the boating lake. They also have lots of places to eat and drink, so you can find something, even for your fussy eaters.
Blue Lagoon Water Park
Blue Lagoon Water Park is most well known for its wave pool, however the park has many other attractions. There is a lazy river which flows outside, allowing you to float through the river and take a look outside. There are many flumes in the park, some bigger, faster and darker than others. One of the flumes has three water slides and two relaxation pools which are all outside. The park also has two adult only jacuzzis, for you to take a quick break. And for the little ones, there is a tiny water park fitted with slides and water fountains, so everyone can enjoy the day out. There are also wet and dry cafes overlooking the whole water park.
Heatherton World of Activities
At Heatherton World of Activities enjoy a fun-filled family day out in Heatherton, whether you are into thrilling adventures or head-scratching activities, Heatherton has it all. There is a family fun zone in Hetherton, which has hedge mazes, go-karts, escape rooms, water wars, archery and much more! The whole family can join in including the dog, as in the family fun zone they have a dog agility course! Heatherton also has a restaurant that you are welcome to eat inside or take food away to sit on any of the outside eating areas around the park.
Folly Farm
Folly Farm is home to over 750 animals but it is more than just a farm. There are 17 different rides in the vintage fairground to experience and enjoy. Folly Farm is also home to eight different adventure areas. In the zoo you can take a look at lions, giraffes, rhinos and penguins up close. Or take a look at the owls, sheep, pigs, donkeys and many more in the barn. You can even milk cows, with their lifelike plastic models. There is also a theatre where the whole family can enjoy events and performances.
